Forest Fire Cellular Automaton

Trees grow into empty cells, lightning ignites random regions, and fire spreads through nearby trees. Simple stochastic rules create patchy forests, runaway burns, and pulsing recovery cycles.

Model math
empty → tree with probability pgrow
tree → fire if lightning hits within rL
tree → fire if fire exists within rS and spread succeeds
fire → ash → empty

This is a stochastic forest-fire cellular automaton, closely related to the Drossel-Schwabl forest-fire model. The radius controls here extend the classic local-neighbor version.
